Opening Monday 12th April!
We are really excited to welcome you all back and we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to ensure your visit is safe, so you can have the best possible experience.
Following on from the recent government announcement we are pleased to announce we will be open again in line with the latest safety measures and government guidelines.
Our wonderful garden is ready and waiting. The rule of six or two households will still apply and table service for your favourite tipple will be available.
Thank you all for your support, we look forward to seeing you soon.
Following on from the recent Government announcement we have been placed in Tier 3 which means we are unable to re-open. We’re so disappointed that we won’t be able to welcome you all back to the pub, but we hope we will be able to do so soon. Thank you all for your understanding and support, stay safe and we’ll see you again soon!
Our contemporary gastro pub is situated in the pretty village of Barnby Dun on the rural edge of Doncaster, close to the River Don and the historic Stainforth and Keadby canal with its unique lift bridge.
Whether you’re eating with us, staying the night or just popping in for a pint of Batemans, you’ll feel right at home in the heart of our cosy South Yorkshire community.
About The Olive
Fourth-generation family brewing Batemans has been brewing quality beer in Wainfleet since 1874. It’s still owned and run by the Bateman family, now in its fourth generation, and they use the same traditional craft brewing methods as their legendary great-grandfather, George Bateman.
